Our aim

We want this site to work for everyone who wants to cook with our food, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or reduced-motion settings.

The standard we target

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

What we test

• Automated WCAG 2.1 A and AA checks on every page, at seven screen widths from 320px to 1440px, on every change.
• Keyboard navigation, including the mobile menu, its focus order and Escape handling.
• A minimum text size of 16px on body copy and 12px anywhere on the page, which automated accessibility tools do not test because no WCAG criterion covers it.
• Colour contrast, visible focus indicators, and respect for reduced-motion preferences.
• The site works without JavaScript, including navigation.

Known limits

Automated testing is not a substitute for testing with real assistive technology, and we have not yet completed a formal audit with screen-reader users. Purchases happen on Amazon, whose accessibility is governed by their own policies.
